GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- The Cottage and Lakefront Living Show is underway in Grand Rapids.
The show features everything from photography to builders to Petoskey stone art, that all celebrate the beauty of Michigan's lakeshore communities.
One of the vendors Nick Heyboer, of Heyboer Landscape Maintenance in Caledonia stopped by the WZZM13 Morning News. He showed a sample of natural seawalling material, completely made of cocoa fiber. The material is better for the lake's ecosystem, is completely biodegradable, and helps promote a natural, plant-based system for maintaining shoreline.
The Cottage and Lakefront Living Show runs through March 30th at DeVos Place.
