(WZZM) - It may not feel like it now, but allergy season will come soon. New rankings say Grand Rapids is one of the worst cities in the country for allergies.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation says Grand Rapids is 36th on the list of spring allergy capitals. The report ranks the 100 most challenging cities for people with allergies to live.

It looks at average pollen count, how many people take allergy medicine and how many certified allergists treat patients.

Grand Rapids' pollen count is worse than average, but the number of people taking medicine is better than average. Also, the city has an average amount of allergists.

Louisville, Kentucky is the number one allergy capital. Detroit ranked 33rd.
