Colorectal cancer is the second leading cancer killer in the United States, but it doesn't have to be that way. In fact, if everyone aged 50 years or older had regular screening tests…at least 60% of deaths from this cancer could be avoided.

This is colorectal awareness month… and joining us to talk more about screening and treatment is Dr. Laurence McCahill… a surgical oncologist at Metro Health.

Dr. McCahill is a based at the Cancer Center at Metro Health Village. You can reach him at (616) 252-8100.
