KENTWOOD, Mich. (WZZM) -- A teenager suspected of starting a fire at a Kentwood duplex was arraigned Thursday.
Maleek Farmer, 19, is accused of arson at a duplex on Kimball Avenue on July 10.
Police believe he set it in response to a breakup with someone who lived there.
The building was heavily damaged, but no residents were injured.
Farmer is considered a habitual offender, and could face a life sentence if convicted on the arson charges.
