WYOMING, Mich. (WZZM) -- Wyoming's mayor on Tuesday night toured the area of his city hardest hit by Sunday's tornado: the Ideal Park neighborhood.
The city is focusing its resources on clearing away the debris in that neighborhood and restoring access.
Mayor Jack Pohl also talked to neighbors cleaning up their homes about the work ahead and how lucky they are.
"It continues to amaze me that we had minimal injuries and no loss of life. When you look this, where all these people were, obviously at that time of the night, were home and when these homes are pulled apart and roofs are taken apart -- it amazes me that no one was injured."
Extra police patrols remain in place in Wyoming to make sure the community is safe.
