GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WZZM)—Grand Haven public safety officers are searching for the men who robbed an elderly woman inside her home.
The 87-year-old woman says a man claiming to be a contractor came to her home on Waverly Avenue asking for a bucket of hot water to help with asphalt work. While she was occupied by the impostor, two other men entered her home and stole items.
The woman says the man claiming to be a contractor was approximately 40 years old, 5'8" tall with a medium build and black hair. He was wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt. Another suspect was approximately 30 years old, 5'6" tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. The third suspect was between the ages of 50 years and 60 years, with a heavy build. He too was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. The men were last seen in a newer white four-door sedan with an out-of-state license plate, possibly from Wyoming.
